What you can assess before making contact
Profiles can show useful housing and co-living information together with the elements explaining why the profile may be relevant. The system helps narrow the search, but it does not claim to predict whether two people will get along.
How to request contact
You can send a request through RoomUpItalia, optionally with a short message. The other person can accept or decline it. Only after acceptance are the contact details provided by the service made available.
Tenant search: owners do not have to just wait
For a property with published and available offers, the owner can open Compatible tenants and see people with an active search who allowed proposals and are relevant to at least one available housing option.
From compatibility to proposal
The owner can open a candidate profile, choose which offer to present and send a proposal. The tenant sees the proposal and decides whether to accept, decline or stop there.
Why an up-to-date search matters
If you already found a home or your budget, area or period changed, an old search creates useless contacts. RoomUpItalia therefore uses current published searches in compatibility flows and encourages users to keep them updated.
Compatibility is not a guarantee
A percentage or a set of matching elements does not certify a good roommate, tenant, owner or home. It helps identify where it may be worth looking deeper, not make an automatic decision.
